Winter Commencement will be held Friday, December 13, 2024, at the Sevierville Convention Center. The ceremony will begin at 10 AM and will consist of both undergraduate and graduate students.
The convention center is located at 202 Gists Creek Rd, Sevierville, TN 37876.
WINTER GRADUATION PHOTOGRAPHY
GradImages photographers will be taking all the professional photographs at Carson-Newman’s commencement ceremonies on December 13, 2024.

Deadline is October 1st for Fall Graduates
February 1st for Spring and Summer 2025 Graduates
- Log in to the MyCN portal
- Select the “Graduation Overview” link
- Select the expected term of graduation. (The term in which all requirements will be met. It’s crucial to verify your major and graduating term, as this ensures the accuracy of your academic records and your eligibility for graduation.
- We’d love to celebrate your achievements with you. Please let us know if you plan to participate in the commencement ceremony.
- Enter the name you want printed on your diploma. The FIRST and LAST name must be the name on your university records. Middle Names will vary in length. Please no initials!
*If your name has changed, please complete a Change of Name form.
REMINDER: Check your Degree Progress Regularly. This will give your personal assurance that you are on track to graduate.
